Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share and protect personal information, written to be read rather than to be survived.
This policy explains how Siri Life Sciences handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing recruitment and professional services. It applies to candidates, clients, suppliers and site visitors.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, contact details, resume, work history, qualifications, right-to-work information where required for a role, rate expectations and any other detail you choose to send.
- Information from others. References you nominate, background screening providers where you have consented, and publicly available professional profiles.
- Information collected automatically. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure, and, where you allow it, analytics data collected through cookies (see Cookies and analytics).
We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this site. Where such information is required for a lawful purpose, for example voluntary self-identification for equal employment opportunity reporting or an accommodation request, it is collected separately, handled confidentially and used only for the stated purpose.
How we use it
- To assess your suitability for roles and to represent you to clients, with your approval for each submission.
- To provide recruitment and professional services to our clients.
- To carry out onboarding, including employment eligibility verification and background screening where applicable.
- To meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
- To secure our systems and prevent fraud.
- To send service communications and, where you have asked for them or where permitted by law, relevant role alerts. You may opt out of marketing at any time.
How we share it
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows.
- With clients and prospective employers, for evaluation for a specific opportunity. We seek your approval before submitting your profile to a named client.
- With service providers, including our applicant tracking system provider, and our payroll, background screening and IT suppliers, who may use the information only to perform services for us.
- For legal reasons, where required by law, regulation, subpoena or government request, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- In a business transaction, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use this site, for example which pages are read and how people arrive here. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that store a random identifier and can last for up to two years. It collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the referring website. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.
Your choice. When you first visit, a notice lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you accept. Elsewhere, analytics runs unless you decline. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We store your choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit.
If you decline, or if you are in a region where analytics is off by default and you have not accepted, Google Analytics does not set cookies. The site may still send Google basic, cookieless measurement signals, such as the fact that a page was loaded, which are not linked to you through an identifier. Google’s use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading them does not send your details to a third party.
How long we keep it
Candidate information is retained for as long as needed to consider you for suitable roles and to meet our legal obligations, and is reviewed periodically. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will confirm when it is done, unless we are required to retain a record by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to receive a copy in portable form. Exercise any of these by emailing info@sirilifesciences.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information and the law requires notification.
