The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That covers text alternatives for images, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard navigation without a mouse, clear focus indicators, and content that works with screen readers and at increased text size.

We do not claim full conformance. Claiming it without a formal audit would be dishonest, and this site has not yet had one.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML structure so screen readers can navigate by heading and landmark.
• Text alternatives on meaningful images.
• Colour contrast checked against the AA threshold for body text and interface elements.
• Keyboard operation for all navigation, forms and expandable content.
• Layouts that reflow rather than break when text is enlarged or the window is narrow.
• Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages.

Known limitations

We remediate known issues progressively and prioritise anything that prevents someone completing a task, in particular applying for a role or contacting us. Where a third-party component we rely on is not fully accessible, we will say so here rather than quietly leave it.

We will acknowledge within two business days and tell you what we can do and by when. If the fix will take time, we will offer another way to complete what you were trying to do, including applying for a role by email or by phone.
