Important. Siri Life Sciences never asks candidates to pay a fee at any stage, for any reason. If someone claiming to represent us asks you for money, banking credentials or identity documents outside a formal onboarding process, it is not us.
What we will never do
There are no exceptions to any of these, and no member of our staff has discretion to vary them.
- We never charge a processing fee, placement fee, registration fee, training fee, equipment deposit or security deposit.
- We never ask for payment to arrange an interview or to secure a role.
- We never ask for your bank account details, card details or online banking credentials during recruitment.
- We never ask you to buy equipment, software or training from a named supplier as a condition of employment.
- We never conduct a hiring process entirely through a messaging app with no phone or video contact.
How to recognise recruitment fraud
Fraudulent recruitment usually shows several of the following at once. One on its own may be innocent. Three together are not.
- An offer arrives without a real interview, or after only a chat-based conversation.
- The email address is a free consumer domain, or a near-miss of our own such as an extra letter or a different suffix.
- You are asked to move the conversation to a messaging app early and keep it there.
- There is urgency attached to a payment, and a reason why the normal process cannot be followed.
- The role, the rate or the terms are notably better than the market, with no explanation.
- You are asked for identity documents before any formal offer or onboarding has begun.
How to verify that contact is genuinely from us
Use the contact details on this website, not the ones in the message you received. A fraudulent message will always give you a way to reach the fraudster.
Call us on +1 (848) 371-9666 or email careers@sirilifesciences.com and ask whether the person and the role are real. We will confirm within one business day, and we would much rather answer a question that turns out to be nothing.
If you have already sent money or documents
Act quickly and in this order.
- Contact your bank immediately. Payments can sometimes be stopped or recalled if reported fast.
- Keep everything: emails, messages, phone numbers, documents and payment records. They help investigators.
- Report it to the relevant authorities in your country. In the United States that includes the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center and the Federal Trade Commission.
- Tell us at careers@sirilifesciences.com so we can act on the misuse of our name and warn others.
